Currently our client a Multinational General Insurance Company based
in Jakarta, Indonesia is seeking for high qualified candidates to fill the senior Level position.
Job Title: CFO (Chief Financial Officer)
Nationality: Expatriate / Local are welcome
Purpose.
Run the local Finance function in all respects: Local statutory, finance operations, Group Finance & Actuarial.
Provide leadership & oversight to IT and Office Operations.
Act as a member of the local management team as well as the board to support the strategy implementation and business development.
Support the CFO of Greater China & Southeast Asia to drive performance, growth and operation excellence by providing effective financial analysis.

Line Manager:
CFO, Greater China /SEA
Functional Manager:
CIO, Greater China /SEA
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
•Lead and manage the FAR functions to establish effective policies,
procedures in compliance with the company accounting principles
•Produce financial accounts of the company
•Ensue an effective control framework
•Develop effective account payable and receivable processes and
policies to support the business
•Manage the PPM team to establish / maintain budgeting procedures and
process
•Lead the team to prepare required budgets, reports
•Lead the investment mgt function to manage investments in
interaction with regional CIO
•Perform financial analysis on profitability of business lines to
help business decisions
•Work with Actuarial to ensure correct reserve levels and using
actuarial analysis to business decision making.
•Responsible for preparing tax strategy and filing corporate tax
•Responsible for capital management & solvency
•Interact with external auditor to secure annual audit
•Fulfill all local regulatory reporting requirements
•Coordinate subordinate staff to optimize the use of human and
material resources to achieve goals and resolve conflicts between
areas of responsibility.
•Oversee the development and implementation of all organizational
activities to protect the funds invested and the interests of share
holders. Ensure the security and development of assets and
resources.
•Represent the organization in negotiations, at conventions, seminars
and official occasions and liaise with other organizations for
financial related issues
•Support the company by communicating and implementing the company
values, principles and guidelines in the company.
•Build, maintain and enhance strong relationships with the company
Group, with particular emphasis GCSEA Region
•Select, or approve the selection and training of finance staff.
Establish lines of control and delegate responsibilities to
subordinate staff.

QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE
Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
Should have level of skill commensurate with a minimum 8 years
management/operatio nal experience,
Management experience of leading people
Experience in dealing with a non Western business environment and
culture is preferable
KNOWLEDGE:
Good knowledge of operational management of GI Finance
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Strategic planning & budgeting
Strong understanding of key performance indicators, ability to
analyze/forecast trends, and Guide staff for further analysis
Good knowledge of Non-Life, Life a plus
Understandi ng of distribution strategies and methods for corporate,
business and individual Segments
People Management Skills
Understandi ng of IT operations from a management perspective
Compliance
Marketing
Distributio n strategy and management including direct sales force,
brokers and other Channels
